    The Junior Program .22 Shooting meets on the PPC Range Sunday from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM except when PPC other events cause closures.
     Participants will learn Range Rules, Holding, Breathing, Sighting, and other skills.
     From Plinking to Shooting Federation of Canada awards, this is fun for all levels.

     The Junior Outdoor Program meets at the Main Clubhouse on every Second Saturday Mornings at 10 :00 AM and is an interactive group, with a lot of hands on  activities, and especially input from the Junior participants. The instructors will endeavor to teach only the skills in which Juniors have a genuine interest. The Club has a wealth of resources in materials, equipment and especially highly experienced Members who are anxious to share their knowledge with  young new outdoor enthusiasts.

There will be Indoor and Outdoor Activities.

These are some of the Outdoor Skills that our Instructors will help you to master:

* Shooting Skills
1) - Safe firearm handling techniques
2) - Aiming and holding skills
3) - Target identification

* Survival First Aid.

* Knots and where and when to use them.

* Building simple shelters.

* Laying and Lighting proper Fires for different uses:
1) - Cooking,
2) - Keeping warm
3) - Signal fires.
* Identifying Plants and their uses:
1) - Herbs for cooking
2) - Medicines
3) - Edibles
* Using a compass:
1) - Simple Orienteering
2) - Walking a Bearing
3) - Making a Map

* Photography

* Weather Study: What Clouds mean what Weather.

* Animal Tracks and Tracking.

* Archery
1) - Making Bows : types of bows.
2) - Making arrows : different arrows for different uses
3) - String and rope making

* Working with leather.

* Fishing
1) - Fly tying
2) - Rod Building: Different rods for different uses.
3) - Lure making : Different lures for different fish.

* Survival Kits : Basic needs and how to use the equipment.

* Tool maintenance and Safe Use and Proper Storage.
1) - Knife Sharpening
2) - Saw Sharpening and Set
3) - Axe Sharpening
* Outdoor Trip or Hunting Planning
1) - Menus
2) - Equipment to pack
3) - Costs
