Al Brown and Pat Baldassi recently set up new Nesting Boxes under the supervision of the Juniors.
Like the Wood Ducks, the "Hoodie" also uses nesting boxes or tree cavities to brood their young.

The Executive and Membership of the Nanaimo and District Fish & Game  Protective Assn. are pleased to welcome John and Susan Van Lieshout to our organization. John was chosen from a number of applicants to be our new Property Manager/Caretaker and we're looking forward to a long and pleasant relationship with the two of them. John has a military background and has knowledge of both firearms and security issues and I'm sure that he will be a valuable addition to the club. I hope you all take the opportunity to introduce yourselves to John and Susan and make them feel welcome in their new home.

Volunteers Needed
A New Year is upon us and if your Resolution was to get more involved,

Your Club Needs You.

Can you boil water, flip a burger, and make (good) coffee ?
We need a new Kitchen Boss as Norm Hygh steps back to take a breather.
. .
Do you like to wade in torrents of icy water ?
Tie on flies with frozen fingers, let the rest of us mortals know where the fish are hiding ?
Then the Fresh Water Fishing Chair is waiting for you ?
.
Call a Board member for further details or to Volunteer.
And Thanks !
